Kaiden's Tantrum

So the other day Kaiden was playing in Kalli's car seat. I thought he looked so cute b/c he's obviously way too big for it. He was just having a good ole' time rocking back and forth so I went to grab the camera. As soon as I started to take the picture he freaked out. He was screaming and telling me not take the picture and I realized I accidentally had it on the video option. I found it so funny that I just couldn't stop recording! It's quite obvious that nap time was fastly approaching. Kaiden decided he'd had enough of my laughing and started to go after the camera, and I figured I had tortured him enough. For all of you who might be shaking your head b/c I was tormenting my little boy, Kaiden now loves to watch this video. So apparently I didn't traumatize him too much! Right after I put the video on the computer he heard the screaming and ran over to see what was going on. He now wants to watch 'Kaiden crying' on the computer numerous times during the day. Again I can't believe how furious he got just by me taking his picture. Gotta love two year olds...you never know what to expect!

Kalli at 4 Months

Kalli was 4 months yesterday and today we went for her check up. She is growing like a weed and still in the 90th percentile for height...maybe there's hope she won't be as short as her mom! She is 26 1/4 inches and weighing in at 15.5 lbs. Her big brother Kadien was able to help the doctor check Kalli's ears, eyes and mouth. He was such a big helper and it was the first time that Kaiden wasn't scared of the doctor since we moved here. He is now weighing 27 lbs and is 36 inches long. He still has a big lead on Kalli but I don't think it will be long before she starts catching up! These pictures were taken last night. As you can tell Kalli has found her feet and they have found their way to her mouth. She tries to stick those suckers in her mouth every chance she gets. I can't say I blame her...I like to chew on 'em too!

New Posts

I know I haven't posted anything in a while it was just hard to top Kaiden's broken arm! I'm the worst at doing multiple posts all at once, and I just did it again. I have just added 4 new posts. I'll try harder to post more frequently instead of posting so many at a time. But I guess its better late then never. Enjoy!

Kaiden's New Stick

My dad has this walking stick with a hook at the bottom that Kaiden loves to play with. He always tries to use it while walking through the woods with Papa but its way to big and Kaiden can barely hold it steady and walk. My dad has been talking about doing this for a while and finally made Kaiden his own mini stick. Kaiden knew he was getting a surprise and was so excited to see what it was. He had the funniest face once he saw that the stick was just his size, his mouth was wide open. Unfortunately I never could get a good picture of him with his mouth dropped. If you can't tell it says 'Kaiden's Stick' on the side. I'm sure there will be many walks through the woods with Papa and both of their sticks.

Kaiden Urkle?

Joe and I love pulling up Kaiden's PJ bottoms as high as they will go b/c it just looks too funny. Kaiden justs laughs b/c we're laughing and then he runs all around the house like a crazy person. We always get a kick out of it. Doesn't he look so dorky especially since he's sticking his tummy out??

Just a few minutes later I tried taking a picture of Joe and Kaiden and as you can tell Kaiden didn't want anything to do with it. It's not too often that he doesn't want his picture taken.

I think this last picture is pretty funny with him yelling "NO!" for me to stop. Let me also give an excuse for Joe's appearance. He came down with the flu on Thursday and was in bed all day as well as Friday. He then passed it on to me so our weekend wasn't too fun but we're both doing better, I'm just hoping the kids don't get it. But that's why he looks like he's seen better days!

Same Size??

Every so often Kaiden begs to hold Kalli. Except for the first couple of times he's really been good and very soft. When I saw these pictures I couldn't believe how my 4 month old looks the same size or bigger than my 2 year old. Is that normal?? He does weigh at least 10 pounds more and I'm not sure on height but the picture really throws you off. I can't believe how big she is getting.

Kalli looks a little unsure and a bit scared by what's going on.Kaiden's going in for the kiss. He still hasn't quite figured out how to pucker up.I think this one has to be my favorite. This is Kalli's sad face right before she starts to cry and then seconds later comes the screaming. But its so cute!

Four Generations

These were taken last weekend while my Grandma was in town. I really wanted to go to a photography studio to have our picture taken but MawMaw never felt up to it...I mean she's only 90 yrs old! So my dad took these before she went back to Mississippi. I thought the old shed was kind of a cool background.

Kaiden was jealous that his picture wasn't being taken so he jumped in with us to take a few.
