We forgot to get a family pic and took this right before putting the kids to bed.
My favorite picture of me and Kal, with our matching green!
Okay Thanksgiving was over a week ago but I'm just now getting pics from my dad. We had a late dinner (aka: lunch) early supper (aka: dinner) around 4:30 with all the goodies. It was just my parents and siblings minus Carmen in Utah and Autumn in New York, we missed you! After stuffing ourselves we played a mean game of Catch Phrase, GIRLS against boys. If you can't tell I'm still a little bitter on who won. Us GIRLS were kicking butt the whole game. The boys would start to get close and then we win a few more rounds. The boys finally caught up and the game was tied; we were also wanting to play The Newlywed Game; so I said whoever wins the next round wins the game. Well that was a mistake since Joe obviously cheated! He purposely went extra slow describing his word and then handed it over to me right before the time ran out! Now if I was lame like Joe and Aaron I wouldn't have grabbed the game so close to time, therefore leaving the other person in possession and loosing that round. But I get so caught up in the moment and I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation that I just grab without thinking and then I don't have time to play. Well we know who truly won and it won't be long before there's a rematch! GIRLS RULE and BOYS DROOL!
Black Friday we slept in (as much as you can w/ kids) and Joe went to work. :( I played with the kids then ran to Target to look at sales on winter clothes for the kids. I know I'm crazy to bring both kids shopping the day after Thanksgiving but it really wasn't that bad. Plus I found some really cute stuff. I didn't dare go back to the toy section and when I was ready to check out there was no line at all, how lucky!
After shopping I went to my mom's for some yummy leftovers and Aaron and Lisa showed up too. We sat outside and played frisbee for a while and then watched Kaiden play in the beloved box. It was a nice relaxing day and even better to know we still had another free day on Saturday with Joe home.
Kalli's new pink sweat suit. She's enjoying her first fire.
We're picking up acorns for a surprise attack on Kaiden.
1...2...3!!!
Happier now that he stole both frisbees

That's awesome, we use paper plates at Thanksgiving too.
Looks like you guys had a great time!
Tell Kaiden that next time we come over we will have an acorn war.
Okay, Kalli looks really good in green too.
Of course you and Joe look fantastic as well.
Joe probably learned to cheat from my husband, maybe they shouldn't be friends anymore. Glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving and didn't join the rest of the crazies at Black Friday (I did, it was horrible!). Your kids get cuter and cuter!
