Saturday night we went to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Baton Rouge. Our Uno buddies, Katie and Philip, invited us along with Katie's younger brother, Ryan. It was very hot but we still managed to have a lot of fun. We got there late in the afternoon and did some walking around and let the kiddies run and play. Most of the balloons didn't blow up until later on in the evening but we were able to see a few inflate in daylight. It was pretty dark once all the balloons were inflated and they did a little light show for everyone. The announcer would have the audience do a count down and then all the balloons would light up at once. Kaiden loved it when they all lit up but Tyler could care less he just wanted to run around. Kaiden would 'ohhhh' and 'ahhhh' all while clapping. It was so cute. Kalli just loved to look around at everything and was pretty good for the most part. We had a few blankets laid out to relax on but ended up having to move while they were taking the balloons down. After the balloon show they had parachuters parachute down from a black hawk and then a spectacular firework show. We were all able to lay back and relax while watching the fireworks. By the end of the night the kids were pooped as well as us adults. We had a good time and I was very grateful that both Kaiden and Kalli decided to sleep in on Sunday morning.

looks like you all had fun, love the sleeping pictures at the end, you tired them out really well! Thanks for the toddler bed advice...we're still battling but I figure it's going to take some time for Aiden to get used to it.
that looks like you had so much fun! it made me tired just reading it though. outings get more and more exausting the more kids don't they. p.s. you look totally hot in the first picture with all ya'll. i threw in that "ya'll" just for you :)
did you mean 'sexy' hot or 'sweaty' hot? And thanks for the ya'll!
This looks like it was so much fun! Tyler is so big and cute! My goodness, he and Kaiden must have so much fun together!
Just so you know... I miss you. :)
Robin, I think you deserve Mom of the Year! Daily you are posting cute things that you do with your kids. I love reading your blog and seeing all the fun new things y'all are doing. Looks like you are having a great summer!
How brave of you to go out in the heat! We've only ventured to indoor activities with A/C. By the way, the guys were making fun of our blogging. I'll beat up Jeremiah if you beat up Joe =)
